WP2 meeting at DLR in Oberpfaffenhofen close to Munich

The meeting was held on 28 and 29 of January 2016 in one of the meeting rooms of the Earth Observation Center (EOC) of DLR.

In addition to the WP2 meeting, participants had :

  • a walk of the DLR Campus
  • a guest presentation by Dr. Reitebuch (Institute for Atmospheric Physics) “Airborne observations during the Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010”
  • a dinner at an Indian restaurant nearby
  • a visit of the German Space Operations Center, which takes care of ESA’s Columbus Module onboard ISS and several German satellite mission (also TerraSAR-X)
